Organic Fruit & Veggie Baskets

This fabulous market baskets holds: a delightful tiny pineapple, 2 red mini bananas, a cantaloupe, 4 white peaches, 3 red apricots, a small melon, green skinned figs, a mango, champagne grapes, a bunch of carrots with their tops, a beautiful white and purple eggplant, a luscious bunch of kale, tiny patty pan squash, 2 fresh eggs and a tiny jar of honey. The last 2 courtesy of my hens and my bees!
Don't settle for ordinary baskets.
You aren't ordinary and your friends
aren't either.
Fruit baskets are a great idea! Wonderful for out of town guests who stay at hotels, busy moms, convalescents, and anyone! Who doesn't like to eat fruit? I like to use seasonal fruits when possible, and organic, always.
Market baskets are a mix of organic fruit and veggies.
You can add some of my fresh eggs and a jar of my homemade jam
or a jar of my own bees' honey!

This basket is all fruits! I found some fabulous lychee and tiny bananas at my neighborhood Oriental market. Then I hit Limbo, an organic produce market and got some local apricots, yellow and white peaches and nectarines. From my own tree I got some green skinned figs. Then at Trader Joe's I bought a fabulous organic watermelon, a giant papaya, some darling champagne grapes, and a tiny pineapple. At the Fred Meyer's I bought organic green grapes, cherries, kumquats, a beautiful lemon and some nice apples. I topped it off with a box of gorgeous raspberries! Beautiful and tasty!!!
A fall market basket with my comb honey in a jar, 3 fresh eggs, organic veggies and fruits.
In the fall we start to have fun stuff like citrus and pomegranates and the lovely winter squashes.
Yummy!

A pretty basket offered by the workplace for a new mother who had a baby boy!
Any amount of money makes for a pretty basket! It doesn't have to be huge to be warmly welcomed.
