Every week I shop at the flower market. I find something I can't live without and that's what I use for my designs that week.
Last day of March, a lovely arrangement for a brand new baby with my given name!
This picture doesn't really do the arrangement justice.
This was a snowy base
of white carnations, with incredible twigs of young dogwood flowers, still
green. Add hyacinths, freesia and iris in lovely yellow. Wrap it all
up in a bunch of gold bullion trim with greens, voila! A most amazing
birth celebration piece.

More with that fabulous Leucodendron. Who knew it came in so many colors?
This arrangement went for $55.
March 24
I was looking for a plant that could be enjoyed inside then planted outside.
I found the answer in this gorgeous apple blossom clematis.
I dolled up the support stick and the pot and voila! A beautiful gift.

March 19th
I had an order for a bouquet with mini callas. Well, they are VERY expensive, so I like to feature them as the stars of the show.

March 17th
This week I was determined to use BLUE! I found this amazing vase (It's got a wasp waist, very neat, you can't see it in the picture) and had some cool blue glass stones. Put them together with some fabulous delphinium... mmmm!
'Tis the season for twigs! Yummy contorted willow just leafing out and some wild lily grass, perfect! This went to my friend Christina who was in the hospital. She's fine now!
March 9th
This week I was entranced by Leucodendron in yellow and red, and bright yellow Kangaroo Paws.
