A fabulous fall wedding with a vintage feel...

Will and Jessica
colors: red and white
result: fabulous!

The color version.
The bride wanted a cascading
bouquet in white and dark reds.
These are all about positive and negative
space.

What do you think?
I decorated the back too since she had to look at it!
The large whitish roses are Helga Piaget, a divinely scented old fashioned rose
from Peterkort.

Wow! You all look so good...

Again, looking fabulous!

Of course, you all know how I feel about body flowers! Love 'em!
I made
9 bouts for this wedding. I was a bit worried the groom would think
they were a bit too much, but he loved them and so
did his groomsmen! They spontaneously told me
they really liked them. Wow! Thanks guys!

5 gorgeous corsages for the mothers and grandmothers.
I used tulle because
it's really got a great vintage-ness to it.
Each one got a white rose to
match the bride as they were all brides once too!

You can see the complexity here. I used a Peterkort white rose, some pom poms and buds, Nandina, dyed beech leaves, bear grass, wax flower, a red rose, some dyed solidago aster, and I'm putting them together as a tiny bouquet now instead of the wrapped stems. I like it!

The lovely maids of honor carried sheaf bouquets made of dahlias (in honor of
the bride's grandfather), dark red spray roses, red achillea, hypericum berries, solidago aster, leatherleaf fern, lots of pompom mums, orange alstromeria, red
dyed beech leaves, and Nandina.
They echo the wrap of the mothers' corsages
with the orange ribbon and burgundy velvet ribbon. The stems are left long
and graceful.

The bridesmaids carrying the sheaves at an angle
This is such a feminine and
comfortable bouquet.

Nice shot of the wedding party.

All my brides get a toss bouquet free as a thank you from me.
Here is one
that echoes the maids' bouquets.

Who will be the next bride?
The bride looked like a young Elizabeth Taylor. All brides are beautiful,
but she was really something special! She and her groom made a lovely
couple!
Of course, I am a vintage mid century FREAK, so it was awesome for
me!
The fabulous pro shots show the importance of a
photographer who knows how to show off the
flowers!
